The following two portraits were showcased at the 2018 Shining a Light: Experiences of Refugee Women exhibit at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, KY.

I was a caseworker for newly resettled refugees at an agency in Louisville at the time, and pursued the exhibition in collaboration with the clients pictured. The portraits are intended to showcase the nuances of the resettlement experience, from taking ESL courses to navigating the green card application.
